Electromagnetic radiation by gravitating bodies

چکیده
Gravitating bodies in motion, regardless of their constitution, always produce electromagnetic radiation in the form of photon pairs. This phenomenon is an analog of the radiation caused by the motion of dielectric or magnetic bodies. It is a member of a wide class of phenomena named dynamical Casimir effects, and it may be viewed as the squeezing of the electromagnetic vacuum. Production of photon pairs is a purely quantummechanical effect. Unfortunately, as we show, the emitted radiation is extremely weak as compared to radiation produced by other mechanisms.

By using the quantum hydrodynamic and Maxwell equations, we derive the generalized nonlinear electron magnetohydrodynamic, the generalized nonlinear Hall-MHD HMHD , and the generalized nonlinear dust HMHD equations in a self-gravitating dense magnetoplasma. Our nonlinear equations include the self-gravitating, the electromagnetic, the quantum statistical electron pressure, as well as the quantu...
متن کاملCharged-spinning-gravitating Q-balls
We consider the lagrangian of a self-interacting complex scalar field admitting generically Q-balls solutions. This model is extended by minimal coupling to electromagnetism and to gravity. A stationnary, axially-symmetric ansatz for the different fields is used in order to reduce the classical equations. The system of non-linear partial differential equations obtained becomes a boundary value ...

We find an exact solution to the charged 2-body problem in (1 + 1) dimensional lineal gravity which provides the first example of a relativistic system that generalizes the Majumdar-Papapetrou condition for static balance. email: [email protected] The static balance problem is a long-standing problem in gravitational physics. Originally motivated by attempts to find exact solutions of th...
متن کاملGravitational Radiation – Observing the Dark and Dense
Astronomical observations in the electromagnetic window – microwave, radio and optical – have revealed that most of the Universe is dark. The only reason we know that dark matter exists is because of its gravitational influence on luminous matter. It is plausible that a small fraction of that dark matter is clumped, and strongly gravitating. Such systems are potential sources of gravitational r...
